Recently, my fellow Southern Hemisphere blogger Poppy Q asked me a very interesting question:
'Have a nice week in Tassie - is it getting a bit warmer now? We have had some nice warmish days but lots of rain still.'
Well, here's your answer, Poppy...
Here I am, toasting my furs in the late winter sun yesterday morning. We've had heaps of rain too, Poppy - as you can see by the muddiness of the pavement (time to get the broom out, Kate!) - but we're starting to have some lovely, sunny days, and a lot of trees are in blossom. As my great friend (and fellow birthday/gotcha day buddy) George Harrison said, here comes the sun, and I say, it's alright!
Cheers,

Pabs, I do believe that may be more sun than I have seen yet. You soak it up dude. We have lots of blossoms too, and we will be glad when summer is back. Mum is itching to get the short pants and the birkis back out.
Have a nice week my friends.
You have sun? We don't have any sun. It's cold and grey. Anyone would think I lived in a different country. Hey mum, can we move to Tasmania?

Oh, how lovely to be able to toast the ol' furs after a long winter. I am actually looking forward to the cooler weather here in the U.S.
It hasn't rained for 3 weeks here and we are thirsty!
Hurray for the sun!
Hmphh, you're in winter and you got sun. It's supposed to be summer here and it has rained most of the last two and a half months. We have all grown webbed feet.
You're getting a good start on your fur tan! And you look mighty comfy lying there.
Pabs your days are getting longer and warmer, ours are getting shorter and cooler. I like warm and long. Maybe I need to teleport down and be a antipodal cat!
Hmmmm...that looks really nice!
