Dismal

All the leaves are brown (well, most of them are)... and the sky is grey...

Yesterday marked the official first day of winter here in Australia (we go by the calendar, not the solstices and equinoxes. Don't ask me why) and boy, has it been cold. And dismal. Especially last weekend, when these photos were taken.
Kate was going to do some much-needed gardening outside, and I was going to help her. I love helping Kate in the garden. But she said that the weather was 'too dismal'. So I went inside and sulked. I felt like this:

dismal.

Hope things are sunnier where you're at!
Cheers,

It's not sunnier here, Pabs, and not much warmer either! Stay warm.

Mum is thinking that the sun is on a complete hiatus. The cat hotel lady told her it's even raining in Townsville. It's only supposed to rain there in February, so the weather man clearly has not been paying attention to the calendar. We hope you got some extra snuggles out of it!

Hey, you got the same weather as us! Ours sucked too, so no gardening was possible at the weekend. It is all weeds and sticks anyways.

Smooches.

Sorry to rub it in but we got hot, hot, hot here!!! It's even supposed to get to the high 70s and even could touch 80f. Yup, we are talking England here. Down in the Southwest we are usually lucky to get to the mid 70's, and to have more than 3 days in a row without rain is nothing short of a miracle.
Oh, and did you really have to set our mum off singing Mamas and Papas songs?

Poor Pablo! It is the beginning of hurricane season where I live. Hot and humid in the mornings and hot and rainy in the afternoons. I think I would prefer dismal!

Our weather guessers say the summer months are June, July and August, and don't go by the solstice thingys either. But it sure hasn't been summerlike here either. I am California Dreaming too!

Usual cold, wet and grey here in Sydney too. Arghhh! Back to the box and snuggle with the blanket.

You don't look too happy, my friend. Hopes you get in the garden soon.

Hang in there Pablo... the cold weather only lasts a few weeks, and they'll pass before you know it. In the meantime, snuggle with your human mom to keep warm...

It's supposed to be warm here in the northern hemisphere in June, but it isn't. We had frost warnings last night and Mom had to go throw a sheet over her vegetable plants.

Oh Dear Pabs, it's raining here too and last week was so warm and sunny I was outside 24/7. The humans got really cross as I only came inside to eat then went straight out again. They said "What's the point in having a cat if we never see her?". Tough luck - you have to make hay whilst the sun shines I say. FAZ
