You may have noticed that I haven't updated my blog recently.
You may have also noticed that I haven't been leaving many comments on othercats' blogs recently.
That's because recently, Kate has been REALLY slack at helping me blog.
So what that she's still got three weeks' full-time work left before she goes on maternity leave?
So what that she's been 'too tired to help' when she gets home from work?
So what that she keeps forgetting to buy new batteries for the camera?
This blurpy thing hasn't even come out yet and it's ruining my life already.
Sorry, everycat. I'm still here and I still want to hang out with y'all, but my visits might be a bit sporadic until Kate finishes work, at least. I hope you understand.
By the way, Wally, Ernie and Zoey, the fabulous Island Cats, were the winners of the 2009 AWESOME Footy Finals Fever Competition. They predicted that the Geelong Cats would win by 21 points, and the mighty Cats won by 12 points; their second premiership in three years. It was a very close, exciting match. Anyway, we made a $40 donation to the Hobart Cat Centre on behalf of the Island Cats and I'm planning to send a little present their way... but who knows when Kate will get around to helping me with that?
Honestly.
Cheers,

Little burpys are lucky they are cute! Or else... talk to the paw! Concats to your mommy! What an exciting time.
I been dropping in every day, just checking (no, we don't use one of them reader thingys, mum says they make her feel overwhelmed).
I will count down three more weeks, then expect you to post EVERY DAY until the monster child arrives.
Deal?
Big Big hugs to you Pablog~!
We are always here waiting for you!@
I will be waiting for you Pablo!
Tense times Pabs. What's life going to be like after the big event I wonder? Are you any good at babysitting? FAZ
Hi Pablo! I think some very big changes are in store for you soon!
Hope your mum gets her energy back soon! We don't want you to be away for too long.
If SS's friends are anything to go by, Pabs old chap, I think you are in for a big shock. Enjoy your mum's maternity leave as much as you can. :Snickers:
Good golly. Is this what we have to look forward to when dad's finally home for long enough?
Take good care of Kate, buddy.
Hi Pabs! We sure have missed you!
Glad you let everybuddy know that you're okay!!
Tell Miss Kate to take it easy. Maybe Nick will take dictation and keep us updated?
We hope the three weeks fly buy and that you get lots of bonding time with your mum, while it is quiet at your house.
Just checking in for a status report. FAZ
Believe me Pablo, those blurpies only get more annoying. Take your snuggles and pets whenever and wherever you can! I've even taken to following mommy into the dungeon aka nursery at night when she feeds Joel. She pets me with her foot.
Tell your mommy that my mommy says, "you'll be more tired than ever after the blurpy comes, but holding that warm little sleepy body, that you knew before you officially "met" listening to baby breathe and make little "mewing" noises makes it all worth it. Until she gets pooped on. Then it is just messy. ha ha ha Seriously.
Then in a few weeks they smile and it is magic. Until you get pooped on again. Hendrix just laffs and laffs. I swear I've seen him roll his eyes..."
