Fun with (near) Alex

Hi everycat,

It's been WAY too long since I last blogged. Sorry. A belated merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all.

We've had a very low-key Christmas. The weather's been warm and we've all been busy adjusting to life with a babybean in the house. As far as I can tell, this has mostly involved hanging out in the living room and watching the cricket (the sport, not the insect) live from Melbourne, Huffle, Gypsy and Tasha's hometown. I've been surprisingly chilled out, and spend a lot of time in my favourite chair:
Kate is 'very proud' of how I'm coping with the arrival of baby Alex. I'm not a big fan of the crying, but I'm not freaked out either. I don't even mind being reasonably close to the action:
... but not too close!

Hope everyone's doing okay. I'll try and visit you all soon, I promise!
Cheers,
--Pabs

Hi Pabs! Good to hear from you! And a belated Merry Christmas to you and your family! That Alex is pretty cute and it's good that you are taking to him okay...we don't have any blurps around here and we're happy about that...they do tend to make lots of noise, don't they??

Hope you all have a Happy New Year too!

(pee ess. BTW, a few weeks ago, we got your package with our prize. Thanks!! We loved getting animals from your country even if they were stuffed! And we enjoyed the postcards and reading about your city!)

Good to hear from you and a belated happy holiday to you too.

The little human looks interesting, but we would keep a safe distance too.

Pablo, you are a good Big Brother! Just wait until little Alex starts eating from a high chair. I understand sometimes lots of foods fall on the floor and you can eat it all up!

Dood, we lose too many good bloggers to new babybeans! Don't take it too easy, ya know? You gotta start trainin dat minibean early, too. Scruffy got our boy started on crawling an Bonnie taught him quick reflexes... or else! I's teachin him how to cuddle an Nina... she talks wif him a lot.
Anywho, enjoy yur warm weather an, really, we'll send snow if you want!
Purrs,
Victor

Pablo! We received your Secret Paws prezzie yesterday! We were way too excited! A prezzie all the way from Australia! And with a new baby bean in the house! Holy cows! We luf the animals and the ping pong balls, and the Tasmania bag! And especially the box! Boxes are really fun!

Thank you for everything!

And stay away from Alex when he is crying. It can be a bit loud at times!

Hey Pablo! How YOU doin'? That little human kitten looks kind of squeaky. Are you teaching him the ropes?

Hi hi hi! I am a terrible terrible friend for not welcoming little Alex into the world and your family. We feel awful we missed the news he arrived early. We are so sporatic with our visiting and the blogosphere news page.
We actually came to visit today because we knew Alex was due to arrive and hadn't heard anything. We are soooooooooooooooo so sorry.

Welcome to little Alex and big brotherhood to you Pablo! Man he is a cute little guy. You're right, I totally forgot to warn you about the screaming. It'll blow your eardrums out! Heads up, don't try to climb into his swing. Those things swing back and it is not fun. Also, avoid the diaper changing area as much as humanly possible. Trust me on that. Has little Alex turned his "sprinkler" on your beans yet?

Alex is a cutie patootie. We think he is the bestest gift you guys got for Christmas.

Wishing you a wonderful, healthy, happy new year with your family. purrrrrrrrs

A belated welcome to the baby. He sure is a cutie. Glad to hear that you are not adversely affected by the new arrival too. But remember, you're there first! Make sure he knows that.

Happy New Year!
