Freaky Friday

So this is Halloween. And what have I done?

Well, I haven't dressed up. It's not really my thing. But I did want to show you all something spooky, so here's a picture of how puffy my tail gets when I get spooked:

And here's a picture of me sniffing one of those pumpkin things. Why do people like them so much? They're not very interesting or delicious-smelling. I thought they were supposed to turn into something?
Halloween's not such a big deal in Australia. People don't tend to decorate their houses and kids don't really trick-or-treat. But it's not unheard of. This week, for the first time ever in her life, Kate even saw big, hollowed-out pumpkins for sale in the supermarket. They didn't have the jack-o'lantern faces cut into them yet. Surely it's more fun to do all the work yourself? At least then you get to use the insides to make pumpkin pie or something.

Anyway, happy Halloween, everycat! Hope it's a spooky one (but not too spooky).

Cheers,
--Pabs

Happy Halloween to you too!!!
It didn't use to be a big deal in Germany either where the maid is from but things change there now and it's getting bigger!
Thank you for still visiting us even if we are so neglectful in returning the favor lately.... It's all the maid's fault!!! We already put word out that we need new help!

I'm with you pabs, no costumes on this girl either.

We didn't have any trick or treaters, which was good as we had no plans to open the door to visitors (don't we sound like scrooge).

Anyways its a cooooooooold, rainy and windy weekend here so it's the heater on and an early night with a good book.

Hope the sun is shining in Tassie for you all.

Happy Halloween Pabs Mate and stay away from the scary Bunyip man as I am sure this is the time of year he likes. Christine was especially scared of him when she was a little girl. FAZ

We hope your tail didn't stay too poofy and you were able to relax.
Thank you so much for stopping by our blog with your kind thoughts. It has been a very stressful week and we have been busy staying close to mom. All the kindness the cat blogosphere has shown has been truly amazing. Thank you.

I was very sad this year because we only got 4 trick-or-treaters to my house.

What a big floofy tail you have when spooked. There doesn't seem to be any difference with mine one way or another - looks bushy all the time. It just goes straight up when I am scared or alerted to something.

Let you in on a secret - the Zoolatry and I are hatching something for the Aussie kitties. Of course you are in it.

Hey Pabs! I didn't dress up for Halloween either (Australian cats are just not that into it) but being a black cat means people are scared of me half the time anyway!

Hey Pabs,
The Zoolatry and I have hatched a project for the aussie kitties for Christmas. I can't find your email address to forward the pics to you. Yes, my SS is not the most efficient SS. Please email your email address to me at momoandco AT gmail DOT com so that I can forward the stuff to you.
