Here comes Momo!

Every year, on Boxing Day, the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race begins, attracting entrants from all over Australia and the world. It's an amazing sight to see all the yachts leaving Sydney Harbour in full sail, and when the 'yachties' finally arrive in Hobart (most take three or so days to get here), it's one big party! Many stay for our New Year's celebrations on the famous Hobart waterfront.

Can you see who's at the helm (?) of this yacht? My Sydney mate Momo is coming down to see me! Woo hoo! She's much braver than me. I hate even thinking about getting my paws wet.
Cheers,

She is a brave kittie to sit on the front of the boat like that. Have fun with the race.

Momo is very brave, indeed. I'm with you, Pablo - water is too wet altogether.

Did you see the great news? Jeter Harris came home! I knew that you would want to know as soon as possible.

Did she win? I read in the news that the winning boat had to fend off a shark!

I hope Momo got to you safely. Every year sailors have to be rescued.

Thank you so much for the lovely card and white bird. We have hung him from our white cabinet so we can see him all year long.

Our christmas was quiet, as mum was working at the hospital, but she gets some time off soon.
