It's begining to look a lot like...

Christmas?

That's right, everycat! In Australia, Christmas looks like this. Hot sun, dry grass. I can't imagine what a snowy, wintry Christmas might be like. Now that summer has finally arrived, I've been spending my days like this, roasting in the sun and then taking to the shadier parts of the garden (behind me) for refuge when it gets too hot.

I can't stop thinking about my poor friend Jeter Harris, who is hanging around outside in the cold and snow and won't come inside. Jeter, mate, I'm purring for you and hoping that you're keeping warm, wherever you are, and that you're brave enough to go home and let your mum look after you. You can do it, matey!

Happy Christmas Eve, everycat!

Cheers,--Pabs

Yeah, roasting and napping - that's life for us Aussie kitties at Christmas. See you all on Christmas Day!

We're not jealous of your sunny hot days. No not at all. We like the rain and ice and cold.
What mum? You mean Sandy Claws won't come to us if we tell fibs?
Okay Pabs, we wuz just joking. We hate winter and we wish we were in the sun.
Is that okay mum?

Merry Christmas Pabs! Thanks so much for sending us the lovely card - that was a great photo of you on the front. Enjoy the garden buddy! We'll be busy organising our Christmas post tomorrow, and then chilling out like you in the garden.

Maybe you can invite JH to teleport over to your part of the world since he won't go inside??? We are very concerned about him too. It won't be a very happy Christmas till we know Jeter is safe and sound.

Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy 2009 to you and your beans!!

ps. Not sure if you saw it but Mommy FINALLY helped us do your dare recently! Sorry it took us so long: http://chenandollie.blogspot.com/2008/12/very-belated-dare.html
