...watch Barack Obama's inauguration, even though it took place at 3.30am, Tasmanian time. This is what I look like when I get woken up in the middle of the night. I must say though, I looked a lot better than Kate did!
Once I woke up a bit and realised what was going on, I made my way to a comfy spot in front of the TV:Kate dragged my underbed mattress into the living room especially for this historic occasion.
Our friend Fiona (who hung out with me when Nick and Kate were away a few weeks ago) came around and watched the inauguration with us. It was great to witness this important moment, even though it meant waking up in the middle of the night. We wish you all the best, President Obama!
Cheers,

Good of you to stay up with Kate. At 3.30am I was fast asleep in bed. What's this myth about kitties being up all night hunting mice?
The big show is started at 01:05am at Taiwan here, so we are sleeping~!
But we are watching the international news today, we are catching up!
God bless !!
It was on at 5.30am here in New Zealand, and I thought quite seriously about getting up to watch it, but all that serious thinking made me very tie-tie so I went back to sleep.
I didn't get up to watch Pabs, but then again neither did mum or dad.

Pablo, you did very well to get up and keep Kate and Nick and Fiona company. Hope you got some decents treats for your trouble. We let Mum sleep through, although we did get her up early for our breakfast.

I'm glad you got to watch Pabs - what a great day it was!
Yeah... yeah...
was a wonderful day!
Obama, glad we gotcha, and
thanks to our friends 'round the world for sharing the excitement with us!
We stayed up late and watched everything, too - the whole world was watching! It's an exciting fresh start toward a new and better world!

How awesome that you watched it even at 3:30 am! We got teary-eyed watching, it was very moving.
It is so amazing to us that the whole world was watching. Hooray for Obama!
We are amazed that there were people all over the world willing to be up in the middle of the night to watch! Just shows how historic and meaningful this is!
Wow for you to get up at that hour to watch, really means a lot to us Mericky kitties. To have people in other countries be interested in our new president is good.
Pabs, your just-woken up look is very cute. We enjoyed the inaguration, too. Yay, Mr. President.
