Oh, this is very very interesting! We use the crystal litter and we like it a lot because there is hardly any dust at all. It just takes a little getting used to the different texture. And it is fun to go potty on crystals! I hope you like it, too.
WOW - that is going to be interesting. Here is a prediction from one cat to a human: one box will be used for business #1 and the other for business #2...
I Dare You...! Come on over and check it out. Karl
Oh this is going to be fun - seems to be a carefully designed experiment - watch out - the winning brand may use these photos in their new advertisements!
Pablo, I am very excited to tell you about the new litter tray that we have ordered for our twig-style litter. I think it will encourage Tracy to keep things tidier in our toilet facilities. I will write about it tomorrow.
I like the first one best when I have to use a tray. It's much cleaner and doesn't smell so bad for the humans (the smell doesn't bother me of course). I usually use the garden though. I have a special spot under the pine tree which I use regularly cos it's dry and dusty. I can send photos if you like. FAZ
Wow, I will be very interested to see which litter you prefer! We Ballicai have never tried the crystal litter, so we will be greatly anticipating your review!
And guess what, Pabs -- I tagged you for a meme! Come by my blog for details *smile*.
pabs, i always found the homebrand stuff was surfice, and only costs $4 for a big bag!!
back in the hobart days, daddy would put the tray inside a tall box that was wider and longer then the tray itself- this would catch the litter as i kicked it about.
i now have a HUGE litter tray, about 60 acres square...
EXPERIMENT UPDATE: Nothing to report yet. Like my good friend Faz, I mainly go outside too. I only go inside, if I need to, after outside closes for the night (for me, around 10pm) if it's too cold or wet to venture outside. So stay tuned!
Oh wow! My Lady is very very interested in seeing the results of this experiment. I think that Karl has a good hypothesis of how the experiment will work out.
Hmm. You have a point, Anthony. And Anthony should know, cause he's a science teacher. I've had the two-tray setup for years now (but with regular litter in both... I always like a clean tray...), and I use both, so lets hope that works as a mitigating factor against those flaws.
And the results are ...... ? Uh oh ... I just realized that I tagged you for the same meme that Marilyn tagged you! Oh well, it's ok ... Marilyn and I can share! Mick
Pablo was my mighty tabby mancat. He passed away in February 2011. For nearly five years I helped him write this blog and together we've made many great friends in the Cat Blogoshpere. I'm in the process of winding up the blog, but I intend to keep in touch with our blogging buddies!

Keep good notes on your experiment.

Wowww, that is funny, I would love to see the result~!!!
That sounds very interesting Pablo. You are so scientific minded. I will be waiting to find out which one you like best!

I'm not sure if all the variables have been controlled in this experimental design. One of the trays is more accessible than the other..
