Sunday adventures with the d-o-gzillaz

Well, today was my d-o-gzillaz' first Sunday in Hobart. I figured that they are used to going on Sunday adventures with Jeter and Laffin, so I thought I owed it to them to show them a good time in their new home town. So I got Nick and Kate to show them the sights of our lovely little city. I stayed at home in bed, cause it was cold. And I don't really dig faraway adventures.

First, Nick and Kate took them down to the waterfront:

Then, they went to Parliament House, where the Tasmanian Parliament sits:

Then they took a sail one one of the ships on the Abel Tasman fountain at Salamanca Place (Abel Tasman was the first European to visit Tasmania about a million years ago):

Then, Nick and Kate took them to the top of Mount Wellington, about a 30-minute drive from the Hobart CBD. They had to break a few rules to show them around...

Nick and Kate took them up to the pinnacle so they could see the awesome view of the Hobart area. Trouble was, it was snowing up there. So they couldn't see Hobart. But they did have fun in the snow, as you can see:

I sure hope that the d-o-gzillaz enjoyed their first Sunday adventure in Hobart. A few of you have told me that the d-o-gzillaz need names... I'm trying hard to come up with some good names for them. Suggestions are welcome!

Cheers,
--Pabs

Well, they look like the Swedish cook from the Muppet Show and Pluto from Walt Disney.

It seems to be very nice in Tasmania!

Nick and Kate sure showed your d-o-gzillas a good time! I am glad they did not get in trouble for not remaining in the vehicle as all dogs are supposed to do. It looks very cold there! Brrrrrrr. It does not snow where I live. Ever.

Maybe you could name your d-o-gzillas Salt and Pepper.

Oh, too bad that it was so cold. I would have loved those pictures even more if you'd gotten to go with Nick and Kate and the d-o-gzillaz!

Man, it's lucky for the d-o-g-zillaz went to you. If they would have come to my house they would get stuck in the kitchen! I am glad they had an adventure!

Those dogs are lucky. They get to go to exciting places and have great adventures.

Cats hardly ever get to go anywhere or do anything exciting. The only place I go is to my doctor. Bummer!

Wow, I'm sure gad that I read about you guys on jeter and mickey's blog! I think your salt and pepper shakers are very lucky to have seen such sights. I'm kinda envious. I've never been to your side of the hemisphere. In fact I only know two cities in California and they happent to be right next to each other. Wow, I want to be your salt and pepper shakers. I gotta have a talk with my mom to see what she plans on doing about this. Have yourselves a great day.

Hey, that was a great tour of Hobart. The dogs must be having a ball with you guys. I can't believe you have snow. I wonder if the humans might move to Tasmania when they retire, I got the distinct impression they really liked the look of Hobart.

p.s. did you see me waving at few from space last night?

That was a great adventure for the Dogzillaz!!

I thought it was supposed to be summer here when it was winter there, but I think the world is all messed up 'cause it's almost cold as winter here too! Though maybe it's 'cause we're so close to the north pole!

Persephone's not allowed on my OTW's lap anymore when my OTW plays with strings, 'cause she attacks the threads. I don't. I help my OTW by making sure none of the threads get out of line and attack her. I also patrol the places where the strings hang out, and make sure they know I'm watching them. Sometimes I have to drag some of them away from the others and give them what-for to make sure I got my point across. Those strings are a bad lot if you let them get away with it.

Dear Pablo.
I don't want to appear racist at all but are your two new friends
D-O-G s??!!
I might just be your old maiden aunt but I wouldn't trust those little barking bundles of teeth further than I could spit.
I speak from bitter experience. There was the incident at Lagoon Beach to name just one. (I have the scars to prove it, but I'm too much of a lady to show them in public.)
Please be careful!
